The Vintage Bike Forum has been cancelled due lack of participation.  Thanks to everyone who did participate!

Things are currently very slow!  Virtually IMMEDIATE turn around on orders placed unless parts are needed and then the speed of completion depends on how long the parts take to arrive; usually within one week!

If you are a GMAIL user, please check your SPAM folder as my emails appear to be going to GMAIL user's spam folders.

We currently have both Z1/Z1A and Z1B carburetor assemblies in stock!  See our CARBURETOR SALES webpage.

The way we work: (please read this entire page to the bottom!)

If you don't see a price for your motorcycle on our CARBURETOR SALES or CARBURETOR REBUILDING web pages, PLEASE use the contact form to request a price and PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT A CUSTOMER ORDER FORM.   The prices we state are for an ASSEMBLY and not a single carburetor unless it is a single carburetor assembly!

At this time (6/28) we have both 1975 Z1 carburetor assemblies available for sale.  When your order is placed, it will go into the CURRENT WORK QUEUE and your new set will be remanufactured and shipped when the order comes up in the queue.
Overseas orders will only be processed on a case by case basis.  The USPS has many Covid related shipping restrictions to MANY countries and these disruptions in service are chaning often.  If you are not a US customer, please inquire before placing an order to see if there are current restrictions on shipping in place.  Sorry for any inconvenience.  This is the current set of restrictions:

Search our Carburetor Rebuilding and Sales pages for your model.  If you don't see it, ask for a quote. All prices are for complete assemblies - WE DO NOT GIVE TURN AROUND TIME ESTIMATES; each order we work takes a varying amount of time and we don't wish to have customers get angry if we don't make some estimated completion time.  PLEASE do not use text messaging as we need to keep track of correspondence via email records.   If you place an order after hours (we close at 6PM EST, your order will process the next morning.  Be looking for our reply and invoice first thing that morning.  If you place an order on Sunday, we DO NOT work on Sunday and will process the order Monday morning so look for our reply email and invoice Monday morning.  Also be aware we DO NOT have sets of finished carburetors waiting to ship if you purchase a set from us. Your order will be placed into our CURRENT WORK QUEUE and your new set will be remanufactured in the order payment is received.

STEPS FOR PLACING ORDER

* Fill out a Customer Order Form

* We send a reply email and an invoice

* Invoice to be paid upon receipt of invoice - reason?  We don't like to check to see if reply/invoice has been received (if you are unable to pay please don't fill out a Customer Order Form until you are able to pay).  We also DO NOT process credit/debit cards directly.  We use PayPal only if you wish to use a card or accept personal checks or bank checks.  We prefer not to use money orders at this time.

* Once invoice is paid, we send shipping instructions (PLEASE! Read the IMPORTANT INFO page)

* You ship      NOTE!!! If you don't read our IMPORTANT SHIPPING TIPS write up and ship your carburetor with styrofoam popcorn aka peanuts, this will delay your order being worked by four weeks.   Sorry for the inconvenience but it is inconvenitent for me to pick this stuff up all over our property.

* We send confirmation of receipt of your parcel (and payment if enclosed) and your order goes into our CURRENT WORK QUEUE

* We work orders the in order payment was received and then ship (generally a Friday).  If you owe us a core exchange, we only ship your new set once the core exchange is received.  PLEASE mark the outside of the box containing the core set:  CORE

We ask for payment up front.  WHY?  We don't wish to receive a set of carburetors, rebuild and find the owner doesn't want them or doesn't want to pay for the order.  Second, we don't want to be responsible for your property unless paid to be responsible.  Third, we don't want to have to check to see if our response to the order form and invoice was received.  Last, we don't want to send carburetors back to the owner if the order hasn't been worked.  Thanks for your understanding.  If these terms don't suit you, thanks for checking with us.  wg

Hope ya'll are doing OK during this crisis.   Since this situation mandates isolation, we will accept PERSONAL CHECKS for payment as well as bank or cashiers check (no money orders at this time).   We always accept PayPal.  MORE:  Since many customers are staying in their homes, orders are coming in rapidly and customers can expect a longer than normal turn around.  We are working as fast as possible to keep up so please have patience if you place an order.  Please take care and may God bless you!

IMPORTANT NOTE!

Please make all bank checks, cashier's checks and personal checks out to:

GEORGE LESHO

219 County Road 2701
Mico TX USA 78056-5335

Any other name will not allow us to cash the payment and will cause a delay in processing your order as we will have to return the payment to you.  Any checks that bounce cost us $35 and we will have to ask the order be paid using PayPal with $36 added to the original invoice price.  If not paid, the set will end up on eBay with a starting bid of $40 (to cover eBay/PayPal fees) plus shipping.

PLEASE READ:
Before asking  us for a quote on a carburetor assembly rebuild or purchase, check our website for pricing.  Prices for rebuilds will be in the Carburetor Rebuild webpage and for a purchase in the Carburetor Sales page.  We don't nickel and dime our customers; the price you see is the price you will pay.  We re-jet, if needed, at no additional charge and provide free return shipping to US customers (see our IMPORTANT INFO link for shipping costs to non-CONUS customers).
Only a few exceptions to our pricing;
1.  New diaphragms for constant velocity carbs  if we don't have spare diaphragms for constant velocity carburetors and have to buy replacements, there will be an extra charge.
2.  Some assemblies use rubber covers over the sync mechanisms and they are usually shot.  If you need new ones, there will be an extra charge as these are not part of a normal rebuild.
3.  Brass floats frequently leak and  have cracks and if we don't have suitable used parts to replace the bad ones and need to purchase new, then there will be an additional charge.
4. If there is a part needed that we don't have a replacment for, you will be billed for that part as it must be purchased.

If you don't see your bike listed, use our "CONTACT US" page for a quote (not our Customer Order Form).
Our pricing is per carburetor assembly and not for a single carburetor.  We don't charge extra for repairs; that is part of the service.  We also don't gouge on parts that are needed but only charge what we actually pay plus shipping.  Many times, we will have spares on hand and if we use these, there is no additiional charge.

 WHAT WE DO!
  • We REMANUFACTURE and SELL selected vintage carburetor assemblies.
  • We REBUILD customer supplied carburetor assemblies.
  • The way our business work is described fully in our IMPORTANT INFO link

If we sell OR rebuild, we replace parts that need to be replaced (as available from our stocks) and make necessary repairs as part of the included cost EXCEPT if the needed parts are rubber slide diaphragms or certain other parts of this nature not normally included in rebuilds.  An example of this type part would be a carburetor body we can't replace from our spares because it is unserviceable.

We also work on more modern carburetors, ask us for a quote.  We have found that local dealerships won't work on carburetors older than just a few years old and with the quality of gas questionable, the need for carburetor work has grown into the more modern motorcycle segment.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO!

We can NOT provide free tech help to non-customers as it takes away from our time working for our paid customers.

We do not sell carb kits, carburetor parts or non-remanufactured assemblies.

We can not make stand-alone repairs on damaged carburetors or provide tips on how to repair them.
