TERMS FOR DOING BUSINESS


If you decide that your don't want your carburetors rebuilt while waiting for the work to begin, or you purchase a set of carburetors and then decide you do not want the carburetors we do not offer refunds. Each order is considered a custom order due to the age of the carburetor assembly, the varying conditions of the carburetor assembly and the fact the assembly can no longer be purchased new in most cases and once placed, CAN NOT be canceled for a refund.  Sorry. Once you place and  pay for your order, this is a contract for work. 


If you have a problem with a set of carburetors we rebuild for you or we sell you, contact us PROMPTLY (during gaurantee period) and give us a chance to resolve the problem.  We do not offer refunds on carburetor rebuilds or carburetor sales. 


Purchasing an Assembly or a Rebuild? PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!


To purchase a remanufactured assembly or have your current set rebuilt, fill out the CUSTOMER ORDER FORM.   Payment is through PayPal or using a credit/debit card or check which must be made out to GEORGE LESHO.   IMMEDIATE payment upon receipt of the invoice you will receive after filling out the CUSTOMER ORDER FORM.  Place any check inside the parcel with our carburetor assembly in a position it won't get cut when opening the box.


International , Canadian and Hawaii and Alaska customers please ask us about current shipping cost as these costs have been volatile for the past few years.

IMPORTANT! 

Send us a note telling us the carburetors were shipped.   Tracking is useful.  Do not insure via the USPS else the parcel will not be delivered.   if sending in a core exchange assembly PLEASE WRITE ON THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR BOX: CORE.  DO NOT USE STYROFOAM  POPCORN IN THE PACKED BOX!!!  Include your name inside the shipped box.


Please take off any hoses, filters, cables, carbs holders (rubber intake manifolds), etc. you wish to keep as we will likely lose these items and can't ensure they will be returned with your carburetors.   Leave brackets that attach cables to the assembly while removing the cables.


Single round slide carburetors or round slide multi-carbs that have throttle cables directly attached to the slide; please remove the cable and put the slide(s) and top back on; these must be rebuilt to include new orings, new jet needles, etc.

Our guarantee on the purchase of a rebuit assembly OR your carburetors sent to be rebuilt:

wiredgeorge Motorcycle Carburetors offers a 90 day guarantee if you have purchased carburetors via an "Carburetor Sales” via this website.  This 90 day period starts on the day you receive your carburetor assembly if you send us an email indicating receipt of the assembly; otherwise the 90 days starts on the date we ship the carburetors to you.


During the guarantee period, the customer must not make physical changes to the carburetors assembly purchased else the gaurantee will become void.  These changes include drilling, milling, swapping out parts, etc.  Tuning the carburetor assembly such as idle speed adjustment, idle mixture adjustment and synchronization is acceptable.   We ask that no other adjustments be made without our authorization.  We are happy to work with customers to make the correct adjustments but if the customer makes adjustments that render the carburetor assembly inoperative or degrade its performance, we will not be responsible and must void the guarantee.  The customer must also use an inline filter with the carburetor assembly as we will not be responsible for debris/sediment originating from  the customer's gas tank clogging carburetor jets.  Some modifications may be needed to fit the carburetors purchased to your bike; petcock, cables, fuel hoses or other plumbing. 


If the carburetor assembly you have purchased does not perform properly, we will, at our discretion, replace or repair the assembly.  We do not offer refunds.  In addition, after attempting to repair a carburetor assembly and we are not able to do so due to the initial condition (it is unrepairable), we will attempt to work with the customer by rebuilding a different assembly of the same type at no charge but we will not give a refund if we are not able to make the carburetor functional due to the initial condition when received.
